The Journal of Global Marketing Perspectives is committed to delivering a high-quality peer-review process within a reasonable timeframe. The Editor or members of the Editorial Board may occasionally submit their manuscripts for possible publication in the Journal. In such cases, the peer review process will be managed by alternative members of the Editorial Board, and the submitting Editor/Board member will not participate in the decision-making process.

2.2 Authorship
All parties contributing substantially to the article should be listed as authors. Principal authorship, authorship order, and other publication credits should be based on the individuals' relative scientific or professional contributions, regardless of their status. If the named authors for a manuscript change at any point between submission and acceptance, the editor-in-chief should be notified via email as soon as possible.

Please note: No changes to authorship will be permitted following acceptance of a paper.

2.3 Acknowledgements
All contributors who do not meet the criteria for authorship should be listed in an Acknowledgements section.

2.3.1 Writing assistance

Authors should only use generative artificial intelligence (AI) and AI-assisted technologies for proofreading purposes only. Applying the technology should be done with human oversight and control, and authors should carefully review and edit the result, as AI can generate incorrect, outdated, incomplete, or biased output. AI and AI-assisted technologies should not be listed as an author or co-author or be cited as an author. Authorship implies responsibilities and tasks that can only be attributed to and conducted by humans. Authors should disclose in their manuscript the use of AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process by following the instructions below. A statement will appear in the published work. Please note that authors are ultimately responsible and accountable for the contents of a submitted manuscript.

Disclosure instructions
Authors must disclose the use of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process by adding a statement at the end of their manuscript in the main manuscript file before the References list. The statement should be placed in a new section entitled ‘Declaration of Generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process.’

Statement: During the preparation of this work, the author(s) used [NAME TOOL / SERVICE] to [PURPOSE]. After using this tool/service, the author(s) reviewed and edited the content as needed and take(s) full responsibility for the publication's content.

This declaration does not apply to using basic tools such as Grammarly and BibTex for checking grammar, spelling, references, etc. There is no need to add a statement if there is nothing to disclose.

2.4 Funding
The Journal of Global Marketing Perspectives requires all authors to acknowledge their funding under a separate heading.

2.5 Declaration of conflict of interests
The Journal of Global Marketing Perspectives encourages authors to include a declaration of conflict of interest. Please ensure that a ‘Declaration of Conflicting Interests’ statement is included at the end of your manuscript, after any acknowledgments, and before the references. If no conflict exists, please state that ‘The Author(s) declare(s) that there is no conflict of interest.’
